ESCANABA — The Community Foundation for Delta County thrives on helping those in need in our community in a variety of ways. OSF HealthCare St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group provides local oncology and hematology services in collaboration with Green Bay Oncology.

A service that is vital to so many in the area and therefore well aligned with the priorities of the Community Foundation for Delta County. The Board of Trustees of the Community Foundation for Delta County felt passionate about getting involved to support the capital campaign for this new cancer clinic and approved donating $25,000 to the project. Having these services locally helps those who are affected by cancer to have treatment closer to home, reducing the need to travel as frequently and allowing patients valued time at home to help recover. The new cancer clinic will allow for growth of oncology and hematology services that will respond to current and future patient care needs.
