ESCANABA -- The 18th Community Christmas Concert - A Festival of Choirs will be held Friday, December 15 at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph & St. Patrick Parish Church.
This will be the 18th year of the Community Christmas Concert. Featured are the choirs of First Presbyterian, St Joseph - St Patrick, St Anthony of Padua Churches plus the Bay de Noc Choral Society, the Remnants Barbershop Chorus and the Escanaba High School Chorale. Each choir will perform two numbers, then all the singers will join for two special combined songs, including the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah.
Following the concert, the singers invite everyone to join them in the church basement for refreshments. There is no admission charge. A free-will offering will be taken to offset expenses of the choirs.
