Ice Fishing and Hunting Expo starts Friday
ESCANABA — The Daily Press is hosting the Second Annual Ice Fishing and Hunting Expo from Nov. 3 through 5 at the Upper Peninsula State Fairgrounds in Escanaba.
Indoor and outdoor displays are geared towards helping hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds and ages better engage with the natural environment and enjoy activities on and off the ice.
Last year’s expo, the first of its kind in the U.P., entertained over 4,500 guests from around the Midwest. In 2023, vendors from Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin will be in attendance.
Admission to the event is free, and the public is encouraged to participate, engage with organizations and businesses at the show, and learn about how others interact with the outdoors.
