BARK RIVER -- The Bark River-Harris School District has announced the appointment of Jeremy Pach as superintendent.
Pach brings teaching and administrative experience from multiple school districts as well as experience as a principal at Pulaski High School in Pulaski, Wis. for the past 10 years. In his previous assignments, Pach has worked closely with school staff, community and business partners and institutions of higher education to prepare students for their futures and provide opportunities for students to explore career pathways while in high school.
"I am looking forward to working with Jeremy as we continue to expand on the wonderful educational opportunities offered to students at the Bark River-Harris School District. I am confident that Jeremy's previous experience as a high school principal and his work with educational change and a host of other projects will serve the team at BR-H well," said Bark River-Harris Board of Education President Mark Erickson in a press release.
"I am honored to be chosen to continue to lead the Bark River-Harris School District," Pach said. "As an old and new member of this community, I want to continue to maintain our academic achievements while also continuing to ensure a positive and relevant educational experience. I am also extremely excited about what our future looks like as a district."
Pach noted BR-H was built on strong tradition and pride by a staff that is truly second to none. It is important to him to continue the traditions, instill continued pride, and to build on the academic excellence the district has established among students, staff, and community, he said.
"The educators and students in the BR-H district make this place great. I am extremely pleased I get to be a part of our growth," said Patch.
Pach formally assumed the position of superintendent on July 1. His appointment comes after former superintendent Jason Lockwood retired in December.
