Seniors at Gladstone High School engaged in mock interviews this week. All seniors developed resumes, gathered references, and practiced interview questions prior to the event. Seventeen local professionals participated in a panel discussions and group interviews. The interviewers received the resumes in advance and were able to comment on and utilize the student resumes during their interviews. This pertinent event, not only gave students experience with interviewing and networking skills, but also provided students with a resume that they can use now and after they graduate from high school. Jeanne Pearson, Gladstone High School English teacher, started the mock interviews at Gladstone High School in 2011 and was assisted by DCCAN since 2015.
