ESCANABA — A commonly-used shortcut across the parking lot west of the old Shopko has officially closed to traffic, the city of Escanaba announced Wednesday.

L & M Fleet, which is locating in the former Shopko, is fencing in an outdoor storage area on the west side of the building and closing off the 3rd Avenue North entrance to the parking lot.
