A fire truck arrives as thick smoke pours over M-35 from a burning home south of the Breezy Point Bar Wednesday afternoon. The blaze was reported at 1:36 p.m. at 5209 M-35 in Ford River Township. No one was home at the time of the blaze. Firefighters from Ford River and Escanaba Townships remained at the scene throughout the afternoon. The smoke was so thick that the home was not visible from the highway and at times created near near zero visibility on the highway.
