Above, children participate in a cake walk at the YMCA Fall Family Festival in Escanaba Saturday. The free event drew crowds of parents and children — many in costume — for games, a bounce house, raffles, and swimming. There were also opportunities to get up close and personal with an Escanaba Public Safety fire truck, have children’s vision screened through the Lions Kid Sight program, and take home a free locking medicine safe from Public Health Delta Menominee Counties.
