It’s a sure sign the holiday season is near. A city of Escanaba worker hangs garland across Ludington Street in downtown Escanaba Monday morning. The garland is a holiday tradition in Escanaba. It is usually hung in advance and lit a few days before Thanksgiving. It adds a festive spirit to downtown throughout Christmas the Christmas season.
