ESCANABA — The Delta County Cancer Alliance Luminary Fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday, August 17. This annual event allows those who have lost a loved one to cancer and those who are experiencing the challenges of cancer an opportunity to purchase a luminary bag for $5 that will be displayed at the Escanaba City Band Concert on Wednesday, August 17 at 7 p.m. at the Ludington Park Band Shell

Bags can be purchased and decorated starting at 5:30 p.m. at the designated table by the band shell. You can also pre-buy and decorate bags at the Delta County Cancer Alliance, 3430 Ludington St., Monday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m.
