A youngster feeds some hungry goats at the Upper Peninsula State Fair. Today is Ladies Day at the fair. The 45th annual Ladies’ Day celebration will be taking place all day Friday, with special events taking place in the Activities Tent for fairgoers to enjoy. Other fair events include the Livestock Skillathon at 9 a.m. The Beef Supreme Drive, followed by the Adult Beef Showmanship, will take place at 4 p.m. Grandstand entertainment tonight is Roots and Boots: 90s Electric Throwdown, with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the show starting at 8 p.m.
