Local children participate in the History Day Camp recently in Escanaba. After the children learned about historic Sand Point Lighthouse and accompanying museum, they had a chance to play with old-fashioned children’s games and a recently refurbished parlor organ. Children were also taught how to use an antique ringer to wash clothes, along with learning how rugs were cleaned before the invention of the vacuum.
