ESCANABA — A detached garage at an Escanaba residence was destroyed by fire Saturday afternoon.

Escanaba Public Safety officers were called to the blaze at 1901 21st Ave. S. at 4:03 p.m. They found the home’s detached garage fully engulfed in flames. All occupants were out of the garage and the nearby home. The garage was a complete loss and no injuries were reported, Escanaba Public Safety officers said.

Cause of the fire is unknown and investigation is continuing.
