Jenny Gordnier of Escanaba donates blood Thursday during a blood drive sponsored by OSF HealthCare St. Francis Hospital and Medical Group, along with AirMedCare Network and Guardian Flight. At right is Katerina Mueth of the Community Blood Center, which operated the blood drive. There is currently an urgent need for all types of blood, according to hospital officials. The Community Blood Center is the sole provider of blood, platelets and plasma to OSF St. Francis Hospital.
