Bells for Hospice

Ilsa Minor | Daily Press

Hospice care workers, volunteers, and those who have lost a loved one while that person was in hospice care came together at North Woods Place in Escanaba Monday to kick off National Hospice Month. The “Ringing the Bells for Hospice” event, which was a joint effort between UP Health System Home Care and Hospice and OSF Home Care and Hospice, recognized those that that have died while in hospice care in 2021 as well as those that died in 2020, when the annual event was canceled due to the pandemic. Those gathered rang bells in memoriam and waived signs at passing cars. Area churches were also asked to ring their bells at noon to coincide with the event.

Starting at $3.50/week.
