ESCANABA -- Two Milwaukee, Wis. residents were arrested Thursday for selling crack cocaine in Escanaba.
UPSET detectives were investigating the two suspects, with the investigation ultimately leading to a traffic stop Thursday afternoon. During the stop, several grams of crack cocaine packaged for distribution, drug money, electronic devices and a loaded handgun concealed on one of the suspects was found.
The suspects, Jaclyn Snouwaert, age 34, and Michael Rogers, age 42, were arrested and lodged at the Delta County Jail on several charges including delivery of crack cocaine and carrying a concealed weapon.
Both suspects were arraigned Friday in the 94th District Court. Snouwaert's bond was set at $75,000 cash or surety. Rogers was arraigned and has no bond.
UPSET was assisted by Escanaba Public Safety, the Delta County Sheriff's Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
