Church identified as possible infection site

GLADSTONE — Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties (PHDM) has identified a site of potential exposure to COVID-19 at a Gladstone church.

PHDM is recommending anyone who attended the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service or fellowship coffee time at First Lutheran Church, located at 1212 Minneapolis Ave. in Gladstone, on July 18 monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 and contact their medical provider if they become symptomatic.

Symptoms of COVID-19 typically appear within 2 to 14 days of exposure. Symptoms may include fever or chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and/or diarrhea.
