Man arraigned in home shooting incident

GLADSTONE — A man who allegedly shot into a Gladstone home was arraigned earlier this week. The suspect has been identified as Brian Edward Mader, 20, of 818 Minnesota Ave., Gladstone.

On Saturday, July 4, at about 11:12 p.m., officers from Gladstone Public Safety responded to a report of shots fired into an occupied residence on the 800 block of Delta Avenue. After investigating, the officers located Mader at a nearby residence. He was lodged at the Delta County Correctional Facility.

Mader was arraigned on Monday, in Delta County District Court. He was charged with two counts of weapons — firearms — discharge in or at a building, a felony punishable by 10 years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.

Bond for Mader was set at $60,000 cash/surety;.
