ESCANABA — Delta County has reported 15 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and two deaths related to coronavirus. County officials also provided information on recovered cases as part of its regular case report for the first time.

Officials said Public Health, Delta and Menominee Counties was aware of 506 specimens from Delta County that had been submitted for coronavirus testing. Fifteen of these specimens tested positive for COVID-19 (including two deaths and 10 recoveries), 451 had tested negative, specimens had been submitted from four probable patients, and test results for the remaining 36 specimens were pending.

Test results for specimens from Delta County are being processed continually. Because of this, the numbers it listed could change at any time.
