MENOMINEE TOWNSHIP – A Menominee man was killed in a traffic crash in Menominee Township early Friday morning.

At 4:36 a.m. CST on Friday, April 24, the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office responded to West 38th Avenue near River Road in Menominee Township for a single-vehicle crash. A preliminary investigation found the vehicle was traveling westbound on West 38th Avenue, crossed the centerline, left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle’s sole occupant, a 32-year-old man living in Menominee, died as a result of the crash. The victim’s name was not released pending the notification of next of kin.
