WELLS TOWNSHIP — A Wells Township home was destroyed by fire Saturday.

At 6:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, Escanaba Public Safety responded to 6995 J Rd. in Wells Township for a structure fire. The structure was fully engulfed in flames when officers arrived.

All occupants of the home had gotten out of the house. No injuries were reported.

The home was a complete loss.

As of Monday morning, the fire was still under investigation and its cause was unknown.

Escanaba Public Safety was assisted by Delta County Central Dispatch, Ford River Fire Department, Escanaba Township Fire Department, MSP 84, Red Cross, UPPCO and DTE.
