ESCANABA — An Escanaba man was arrested for drug charges after Delta County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop in Escanaba Wednesday.

According to the sheriff’s office, during the traffic stop deputies seized large quantities of cocaine, meth and money.

Following an investigation, a search warrant was obtained for the man’s home in Escanaba, where more cocaine was located.

The Escanaba man was arrested for possession with intent to deliver cocaine and meth.

The Delta County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Escanaba Public Safety Department and Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET).
