30 cats removed from house, donations needed
ESCANABA — The Delta Animal Shelter is asking for donations after assisting law enforcement in removing a large amount of cats from a local residence Thursday.
The Delta Animal Shelter was closed Thursday so volunteers and staff could assist law enforcement with the removal of over 30 cats from a local residence, according to the shelter’s Facebook page.
The shelter is asking for monetary donations and supplies because none of the cats had been spayed/neutered or had any veterinary care.
The biggest needs at the shelter at this time are monetary donations; cat litter; Purina Complete Cat Chow, sold in a blue bag; moist cat food and paper towels.
