Storm topples numerous trees in Gladstone

GLADSTONE — Numerous trees and power lines were down in the city of Gladstone after the storm Monday evening.

According to Gladstone Public Safety Department, city emergency crews were out last night cleaning up trees from the roadways and restoring power.

City of Gladstone released a statement last night cautioning people from being out on the roads as many were blocked from fallen trees.

City officials updated the statement, saying the trees have been removed from the roads and the roads are now open.

City officials are still urging people to use caution when driving in the area as there are still some debris.

Michigan State Police from the Gladstone Post said no one was hurt.

Troopers did note two of their patrol cars were damaged because of fallen trees.
