Escanaba DDA to update its website

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will be updating its website, members decided at the board’s regular meeting on Thursday.

The DDA unanimously agreed to hire RKCom Web Design Services for no more than $600 to work on the website which was created by the company and had not been updated since June 2015.

Updates to the website will include information on how to rent the new marketplace in addition to other content, said DDA Director Ed Legault.

In other business, DDA members welcomed Eric Swanson as a new member on the board. Legault also informed board members about a new round of downtown facade improvement projects, the continued condemnation of a blighted building at 910 Ludington St., and a downtown clean up event set for May 19.
