Regional Special Olympics Basketball Tournament Friday evening in the Escanaba Area High School gymnasium. Accompanying Hammersmith as he carried the torch was George Dunlap, Area 1 assistant director. The tournament, sponsored by the Escanaba Noon Kiwanis for 41 years, includes more than 350 athletes, volunteer coaches and chaperones.
