Escanaba Wrestling welcomed 65 wrestlers from across the region to their Michigan ROOTS wrestling camp, from kindergarten through high school, for a three-day camp at the Escanaba High School gym.
The camp was led by Drew Hansen, a Gladstone native and Michigan State University wrestler; Owen Segorski, an Escanaba native and Michigan State University wrestler; and Carter Blough, a Lowell native and Grand Valley State University wrestler.
Over three days, the clinicians taught wrestling technique, discipline, and the mindset that helped them reach the collegiate level, providing young athletes with valuable instruction both on and off the mat. (Courtesy of Samantha Berube)
