ESCANABA — Great Lakes First Federal Credit Union, which has locations in Escanaba and Gladstone, recently issued four $500 scholarships to local students.

Logan Coble and Lisa Taylor were presented with checks for “traditional” scholarships, while Jared Quinn and Ben Sands were awarded trades scholarships.

“Investing in local students means investing in the future of our communities,” wrote Marketing Specialist Becky Townsend on behalf of the credit union. “At GLFFCU, we are proud to support hardworking area students as they continue their educational journeys and pursue their goals. Congratulations to our 2026 scholarship recipients!”
