Northern Lights YMCA opens 2026 Summer Camp registration
ESCANABA – The Northern Lights YMCA has opened registration for its 2026 Summer Camp programs, aiming to offer a variety of opportunities for children to stay active, make friends and enjoy a safe and supportive summer experience.
The YMCA offers three summer programs designed for different age groups and needs:
Wells Summer Program (ages five to six) and YMCA Day Camp (ages seven to 12) will run for 10 weeks from June 8 through August 14. Campers can enjoy games, outdoor adventures, arts, crafts and activities designed to keep kids engaged, learning and having fun all summer long.
Additional program details, such as weekly cost for members and non-members, can be found on the YMCA’s website, nlymca.com/delta or call 906-789-0005.
The YMCA is also partnering with the Rotary Club of Escanaba to offer Rotary Camp Harstad, a welcoming and inclusive summer camp experience for youth ages six to 17 with mild to moderate disabilities. This program runs for eight weeks from June 15 through August 7 at the Rotary Camp Harstad site.
The Northern Lights YMCA is committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate. Scholarships and second-child discounts are available, and families are encouraged to apply for financial assistance prior to registering so pricing can be accurately reflected during the registration process.
“Our summer camps give kids the chance to explore, grow and build friendships in a safe and supportive environment,” said the Northern Lights YMCA Youth, Family & Sports Director Raquel Schon. “We’re excited to welcome families back for another great summer.”
