Wells Lions Club treasurer Tom Skradski presents a $3,000 check to Tonya Gartland, executive director of the Delta Animal Shelter in Escanaba. The donation stems from the Lions Club 2025 deerslayer meeting in December. In recent months, the Wells Lions Club has donated more than $10,000 to the St. Vincent De Paul food pantries in Escanaba and Gladstone, Salvation Army food pantry, the Community Thanksgiving dinner, Shop with a Cop, Eskymo Blue Line Club and Tri-County Safe Harbor in Escanaba.
