North Central competes in ‘High School Bowl’

MARQUETTE – The North Central High School team played Sault Ste. Marie in WNMU-TV’s “High School Bowl” and was defeated by a score of 50-330. Thirty-six schools from the Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin participate in the “High School Bowl” tournament, now celebrating 47 years on the air.
Sault Ste. Marie will advance to the second round against Marquette, scheduled to air Feb. 7.
Running from November through the championship game in April, the “High School Bowl” series airs on WNMU-TV at 8 p.m. Saturdays and 3 p.m. Mondays; both are Eastern times. It is also available statewide on the Michigan Learning Channel.
