This festive culinary event will feature charcuterie demonstrations, holiday dips, cookie-making inspiration and a special appearance by Lori Kulju, known as the “Yooper Goddess,” who will give one of her signature demonstrations. Kulju has garnered about 16,000 followers on Facebook. Based in Ishpeming, the Yooper Goddess presents her cooking segments every Friday on WZMQ-19 News.

In addition, selected recipes submitted by the public will be prepared live by William Carden and Kristina Pomeroy, executive chefs of the Island Resort & Casino.

Doors open at 5 p.m., with the show running from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $20 each, and corporate tables that seat six are available for $100. With demand already high, organizers encourage early ticket purchases.

The “Taste of the Island” Cooking Show – Holiday Edition offers a lively blend of entertainment, seasonal flavors and hands-on culinary insight along with local vendors for a great evening.
