ESCANABA — The General Federation of Women’s Club-Escanaba Woman’s Club has donated funds for the After School Program’s annual Christmas Party at the Catherine Bonifas Civic Center, 225 N. 21st St. in Escanaba.

The party is for youths in fourth through 12th grades who are registered in the Bonifas center’s After School Program.

“We are grateful for the partnership with the GFWC-Escanaba Woman’s Club. Organizations such as this make it possible to go above and beyond for our After School Program,” Recreation Director Kim Peterson said. “Every student that comes to the party will get a present, along with a pizza party.

“Students definitely look forward to the party every year as we display the presents in the trophy case prior to the party. We sincerely want to thank the GFWC-Escanaba Woman’s Club for their generous donation and their continued support. Organizations such as the GFWC make events possible for us to go above and beyond.”
