Delta County YAC details October grant awards
ESCANABA — The Community Foundation for Delta County Youth Advisory Committee has announced recipients of its October 2025 grant round. They include:
— Menominee Delta Schoolcraft Community Action Agency — “Every Baby Deserves a First Birthday”;
— Mid Peninsula School – Youth in Government;
— Holy Name Catholic School – Three Cheers (Mats) For Holy Name!; and
— Eskymo Blue Line Club, Escanaba Eskymos High School hockey team — Ice rental, Wells Sports Complex.
Community Foundation for Delta County President and CEO Cheryl Andzejewski and YAC Youth Advisor David Radloff stated in a news release, “The foundation’s Youth Advisory Committee is made up of a bunch of very impressive young adults who want to help make a difference. They give up of their time to make our community and its residents a better place to learn, play and live.”
YAC Co-Chair Diana Clark announced the April grant round will open on Friday, Feb. 27. All grant application requests and requirements must be received by 3:30 p.m. Eastern time on Wednesday, April 1, to be considered. Individuals and service clubs do not qualify for grant funds, according to the organization.
