Annual Holiday Art Sale Nov. 15 in Marquette

MARQUETTE — The Marquette Regional History Center and City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center will have their 25th-annual Holiday Art Sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the regional history center, 145 W. Spring St. in Marquette.

This sale is the perfect way to start holiday shopping off, by supporting local artists in every medium. This year the museum is including an outside-heated tent to accommodate even more vendors for the sale’s 25th year.

The museum also will have an old-fashioned bake sale, its annual Dollhouse Days, a membership drive and the History Center gift shop will be open for the event.

These artists have been juried into this year’s sale: Kurt Babcock, Chris and Sandy Weber, Monica Zehnder, Marlene Wood, Kathy Binoniemi, John French, Cindy Engle, Crys L. Hendrick, Judy Parloto, Elise Bunce, Jenny Frein Hamel, JoAnn Shelby, Mary Ann Theis, Amelia Pruiett, Christopher Schmidt, Susan Estler, Candace Prill, Julia Anderson, Mike Tuch, Erica Potila, Mavis Farr, Lindsey Heiden, Kalil Zender, Cassandra Bullock, Camille Hamilton, Katie Rheaume, Jason Dean, Julie Martinson, Amanda Reou, Frank Malette, Mike Shelafoe and Anika, Lance Attwell, Ann Golden, Kirstin Hensley and Wreaths by Shailah Pelto “Samara Floral.”

Admission is $2, which includes entrance to the Holiday Art Sale, MRHC exhibits, tickets for the door prize raffle drawing and all other events.

All proceeds support the MRHC, a private, non-profit 501(c)(3).
