Charlie Becker, Community Foundation for Delta County board chair, along with Board of Trustees members Todd Maki, Brian Pahnke and Eric Willour present a check for $2,303.75 to Delta County Cancer Alliance President Gayle DeShambo from the Robert & Anne Schmit Fund, held by the Community Foundation for Delta County, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Upper Peninsula. The Robert & Anne Schmit fund annually donates to the Delta County Cancer Alliance, as well as many other worthy organizations, to help provide Delta County residents dealing with various types of cancer some financial support as they go through treatment or experiencing other health issues related to cancer. The Schmits were well-known and outstanding citizens who continue to make a difference through the fund.
