Big Foot featured on Cedar River BridgeWalk T-shirts

CEDAR RIVER — It has been rumored that Big Foot has been spotted in the Cedar River area foraging for mushrooms and believed he might make an appearance at this year’s Cedar River BridgeWalk.
To commerate Big Foot’s sighting in Cedar River and possible BridgeWalk attendance, organizers put his image on this year’s T-shirt design.
The 2025 BridgeWalk T-shirts are available for purchase, for $20 each, in a burnt-orange regular T or in maroon women’s tank top, at the Halfway Bar & Grill, N8241 M-35, Cedar River, starting at 3 p.m. Central time through today, and starting at noon Saturday and Sunday. T-shirts will also be available at the BridgeWalk.
Proceeds of the T-shirt sales and other fundraising activities go to the non-profit organizations Cedarville Volunteer Fire Department and Cedar River Chapel.
The BridgeWalk will be Saturday, beginning with live music at 10 a.m. from Disney’s Chris Petranoff at the Cedarville Township Hall. The bridge walk will commence at 11 p.m. from the Cedarville Township Hall on Old Mill Lane across from the Cedar River Harbor and Marina.

The parade over the Cedar River Bridge in Cedar River, will be welcomed on the other side by the BridgeWalk2025 festival at Halfway Bar & Grill, with live music by the Josh Friedland Band. At about 12:30 p.m. there will be again a joke contest to memorialize the late Tom Bolen and his ability to continually crack jokes, sometimes for hours. First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded valued at $50, $30 and $20. Contestants are asked to keep it appropriate for young children.
The chicken s–t bingo game and raffles will be take place throughout the day. A wide variety of vendors are expected at the Halfway Bar & Grill. Hamburgers, brats, hot dogs and a variety of cold beverages will be available throughout the day.
