ESCANABA – The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County District Court on unrelated charges.
RETAIL FRAUD
Kaitlyne Marie Micheau, of Gladstone pleaded guilty to one count of retail fraud – second degree; 80 hours of community service in lieu of 10 days in jail; probation for 12 months; $2,035 in fines and fees.
Crystal Lynn Vanelsacker, of Felch pleaded guilty to one count of retail fraud – third degree; four days in jail with credit for four days already served; probation for six months; 20 hours community service; $2,240.91 fines, fees and restitution.
Ashley Louann Ball, of Manistique pleaded guilty to one count of attempted retail fraud – third degree; probation for six months; 12 hours community service; #1,305 fines and fees.
OPERATING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Zachary Craig Micheau, of Gladstone pleaded guilty to one count of operating while license suspended/revoked/denied; 60 hours community service in lieu of 20 days in jail; $125 fines and fees.
FAILURE TO STOP
Charles Robert Jack, of Cornell pleaded guilty to one count of failure to stop after collision; six days in jail with credit for one already served; 30 hours community service in lieu of remaining five days in jail; $675 fines and fees.
EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SERVICE
Jesse Robert Timonen, of Escanaba pleaded guilty to one count of emergency telephone service – using for unauthorized purpose; 13 days in jail with credit for 13 days already served; probation for 12 months; 40 hours of community service; $1,835 fines and fees.
ANIMAL CRUELTY
Lewis Eugene Holmes II, of Gladstone pleaded guilty to one count of animals – abandoning/cruelty to one animal; 20 hours of community service in lieu of five days in jail; $1,125 fines and fees.
