ESCANABA – The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court on unrelated charges.

Daniel Philip Dougherty, of 1400 1st Avenue South Apt. B, in Escanaba pleaded guilty to two counts of sex offenders – failure to comply with reporting duties.

He was sentenced to five months in jail for each count, to be served concurrently.

Dougherty will also be placed on probation for 24 months.

He was also ordered to pay $916 in fines and fees.

Russ John Guertin, of 7468 Brampton 27.5 Road, in Rapid River pleaded guilty to one count of operating-ouil/per se – third offense. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail with credit for 245 days already served.

Clifford Lawrence Kaja, of 312 North 19th Street Upper, in Escanaba pleaded guilty to one count of sex offenders – failure to comply with reporting duties. He was ordered to pay $698 in fines and fees.
