ESCANABA — Midwest Truck Driving School and North Country Electrical Line and Heavy Equipment School demonstrated their unwavering support for veterans with a donation to the UP Honor Flight. The presentation took place in Escanaba, where the schools proudly gave back to the community and honored those who have sacrificed for our freedom.

Scott Knauf accepted the check on behalf of the UP Honor Flight, joined by three veteran instructors from the schools — Kyle, Don, and Dennis — who proudly presented the donation. Kyle Barron, speaking on behalf of the schools, said, “We are privileged to live in the land of the free because of the brave. This donation is a small way to honor those who have served and ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.”

The UP Honor Flight, which organizes trips for veterans to visit war memorials in Washington, D.C., expressed gratitude for the schools’ support. The contribution will help fund future flights, enabling more Upper Peninsula veterans to experience this meaningful journey.

Midwest Truck Driving School and North Country Electrical Line and Heavy Equipment School remain committed to supporting veterans and strengthening the Escanaba community through acts of gratitude and service.

Starting at $3.50/week.
