E-waste collection in Gladstone

GLADSTONE — An e-waste collection event will be set up in Gladstone on Friday, June 27 to give people the opportunity to dispose of old electronics responsibly.

Items will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 103 N. 12th St. in Gladstone.

Materials accepted include DVD and VCR players, desktop fax machines, computers, phones, tablets, televisions, monitors, gaming consoles, keyboards, cords, routers, printers and scanners.

The cost is five dollars per car. Electronic materials may be harmful when deposited in landfills, so this collection helps to protect the environment by recycling the right way. The City of Gladstone is proud to partner with the Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE), the Great Lakes Climate Corps, and the Superior Watershed Partnership & Land Conservancy.

Kitchen appliances, lamps and vacuums will not be accepted.

Starting at $3.50/week.
