ESCANABA — Defendants were sentenced recently in Delta County Circuit Court. They include:

Lakaia Monaykwa Keshick, of W201 Casino Lane, Wilson, pleaded guilty to police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing and operating – while intoxicated – occupant less than 16. She was sentenced to six months in jail with credit for 75 days served on the assault charge and 75 days in jail with credit for 75 days served on the drunken driving charge. She was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $958 and placed on probation for 18 months.

Jamie Alan Eagle, address unknown, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – delivery/manufacture – methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 60 months to 20 years in prison. He was also assessed fines and costs of $198.

He also pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy and controlled substance – maintaining a drug house. He was sentenced to 16 months to 10 years in prison on the drug charge and 16 months to two years in prison on the drug house charge. All sentences will be served concurrently. He was also assessed additional fines, costs and fees of $266.

Alex James Wigand, of 5730 S. Oak Park 17.5 Drive, Wells pleaded no contest to child sexually abusive material – possession. He was sentenced to six months in jail with credit for two days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $348 and placed to probation for 60 months.
