ESCANABA — Defendants were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court. They include:

Randee Jaymes Matthews, address unknown, pleaded n contest to attempted domestic violence. He was sentenced to 233 days in jail with credit for 233 days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $698.

Jessica Lynn Norman, of 777 Pioneer Road Trailer 197, Marquette, pleaded no contest to larceny in a building. She was sentenced to eight months in jail with credit for three days served. She was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $798 and placed on probation for 12 months.

Jason Neil Rein, of 5970 26th Lane, Gladstone, pleaded guilty to weapons – carrying concealed. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for four days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $198 and placed on probation for 18 months.

Cole Sabastian Malchow, of 12144 T Road, Rapid River, pleaded no contest to attempted weapons – firearms – larceny. He was sentenced to six months in jail with credit for 233 days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $698.

Matthew Luke Willis, of 1310 Superior Ave., Gladstone, pleaded no contest to attempted controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy and assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault). He was sentenced to six months in jail with credit for 118 days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $68 and placed on probation for 12 months.

Robert Sinclair Oliver, of 201 N. 13th St., lower, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated occupant less than 16 – 2nd or subsequent offense. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail with credit for 90 days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $1,348 and ordered to pay $1,440.93 restitution. He was also placed on probation for 24 months.

Jeremy Dennis Felter, of W3722 Fine Avenue, Spalding, pleaded guilty to attempted controlled substance – delivery/manufacture – methamphetamine. He was sentenced to four months in jail with credit for 41 days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $698.

Kevin Gary Heitz, of 6277 M.25 Lane, Escanaba pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstacy and police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing. He was sentenced to 19 months to 10 years in prison on the drug charge and 19 months to two years in prison on the assault charge. The sentences will be served concurrently. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $266.

David Allen White Jr., of 1402 Wisconsin Ave., Gladstone, pleaded guilty to weapons – firearms – possession by felon and controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy. He was sentenced to seven months in jail with credit for 109 days served on both charges. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $280 and placed on probation.

Travis Lee Maki, of 10 Mapleview Dr., Gladstone, pleaded guilty to attempted controlled substance – delivery/manufacture – methamphetamine. He was sentenced to four months in jail with credit for 10 days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $130.

Joshua B. Giroux, of 15 Tipperary Road, Gladstone, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy. He was sentenced to 10 months in jail with credit for 118 days served. He ws also assessed fines, costs and fees of $198.

Mandy Lynn Maynard, of 9912 US 2, Apt. 3, Rapid River, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy. She was assessed fines, costs and fees of $848 and placed on probation for 18 months.
