Midwest Truck Driving School offers scholarship
ESCANABA — Midwest Truck Driving School announces the annual offering of the Steve Porath Memorial Scholarship, a full ride Class A CDL scholarship dedicated to honoring the legacy senior instructor Steve Porath. Throughout his years of service, Steve touched the lives of hundreds of students, imparting not just knowledge but also values of dedication, professionalism, and excellence.
“We invite passionate individuals who are eager to pursue a career in the trucking industry to apply for this prestigious scholarship opportunity. The recipient of the Steve Porath Memorial Scholarship will receive full tuition coverage for our Class A CDL certification program,” the school stated in a press release.
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants are required to submit an essay explaining why they believe they deserve this opportunity and what qualities make them a strong candidate.
