ESCANABA -- Defendants were sentenced recently in Delta County Circuit Court. They include:
Hillery Laakso, of PO Box 130, Loud Spur Road, Chatham, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstacy. She was sentenced to 11 months in jail with credit for 212 days served. She was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $698.
Keith Allen Fleming, of 1912 Longyear Ave., Apt. 22, Marquette, pleaded guilty to attempted controlled substance – delivery/manufacture – methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for 190 days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees $758.
