ESCANABA -- The Northern Michigan University Center for Rural Health will host a U.P. Community Health Town Hall webinar about Direct Care Workers and the field of caregiving. This webinar will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. EST Thursday, Jan. 25.
The caregiving guest panelists include: Eric Paad, founder and president, Caregiver Incentive Project; Clare Luz, director, IMPART Alliance, College of Osteopathic Medicine-MSU; Shenae Kreps, direct care worker, private duty; and Timothy Niyonsenga, LMSW, senior program officer, Healthy Aging and Caregiving, Michigan Health Endowment Fund.

The town hall provides the public a platform to directly engage with a panel of subject-matter experts such as public health officials, clinicians and agencies, and focuses on a variety of aspects that impact the health and well-being of communities throughout the Upper Peninsula.
The U.P. Community Health Town Hall is a free, monthly virtual webinar series that focuses on new health-related topics each month. Webinars are held on the last Thursday of each month and can be viewed live at 7 p.m.
