The Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes recently received a $500 grant to help pay membership costs. The grant came from the Schoolcraft County Community Foundation’s Kellogg Fund and was awarded during the SCCF’s fall grant round. Kellogg Fund awards are based on recommendations from SCCF’s Youth Advisory Committee, which reviews youth-related grant applications. Linda Levin and members of Brownie Girl Scouts Troop 5420 accept a SCCF grant check from YAC members Lily Knaffla, Brianna Tiglas, and Kaylin Morrison.
