ESCANABA -- The winners for the "The U.P. Through Lens" photography exhibition at the Bonifas Arts Center are as follows:
First Place -- "Living the Dream" by Bill Savage.
Second Place -- "Yooper Talk is an Open Book" by Heather Calouette
Third Place -- "A River Runs Through It" by Ben Rzonca
Receiving honorable mentions were "Wilderness Freedom" by Michael Olson, "Ice Framed Lighthouse" by Samantha Buttry, and "Reverberations in Time" by Katheryn Lund Johnson.
The pieces and the more than 150 other photographs entered in the exhibit will be on display through Feb. 22. Guests will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite piece.
The people's choice winner will be announced at the end of the show.
