ESCANABA -- Defendants were sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court recently. They include:

Brittany Nicole Caswell, of 1208 Dakota Ave., Gladstone, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstacy. She was sentenced to 11 months in jail with credit for 73 days served. She was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $698.

David Allen White Jr., of 1402 Wisconsin Ave., Gladstone, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. He was sentenced to 93 days in jail with credit for 79 days served.

Nicole Lee Guertin, of 6335 State St., Garden, was found guilty by a jury of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture – methamphetamine. She was sentenced to seven months in jail with credit for 137 days served. She was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $1,008 and placed on probation for 18 months.

Kyle Walter McDaniel, of 324 Commando St., Gwinn, pleaded no contest to sex offender – failure to register – second offense notice. He was sentenced to 10 months in jail with credit for two days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $198.

Jeffrey Doyle Schultz, homeless, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine, controlled substance – maintaining a drug house and operating while intoxicated habitual offender fourth offense. He was sentenced to 11 months in jail with credit for 138 days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $630 and $58.29 restitution.

Kathleen Lynn O'Connell, of 1222 Sheridan Road, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy. She was sentenced to 125 days in jail with credit for 125 days served. She was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $848 and placed on probation for 24 months.

Jena Lee Dunlap, of 823 2nd Ave. S., Escanaba, pleaded no contest to attempted operating while intoxicated 3rd. She was sentenced to 87 in jail with credit for 87 days served. She was also assesed assessedcosts and fees of $1,398 and placed on probation for 18 months.

Darice Lauren-Marie White, of 261 Saint Mary's Boulevard, Green Bay, Wis., pleaded guilty to two counts of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic) less than 50 grams. She was sentenced to one year, seven months to 20 years in prison with credit for 103 days served. She was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $90.

Michael Lee Shrove, of 553 N. 12th St., Gladstone, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (schedules 1,2 and 3 except marijuana, methamphetamine, ecstasy and cocaine). He was sentenced to four months in jail with credit for 26 days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $848 and placed on probation for 12 months.

Lige Hood Johnson, of 1119 3rd Ave. N., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to operating – while intoxicated 3rd offense and operating – violation of license restrictions. He was sentenced to nine months in jail with credit for five days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $1,398 and placed on probation for 24 months.

James Michael Rowley Jr., of Escanaba, pleaded guilty to assault or assault and battery. He was sentenced to 93 days in jail with credit for 93 days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $125.

Treavor Paul Newman, of 1330 Stephenson Ave., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering a building with intent. He was sentenced to five months in jail with credit for one days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $698.

Paul William King, of 1009 4th Ave. S., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for one day served.

Joshua Morgan Silsby, of 3345 K Road, Bark River, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession/analogues. He was sentenced to 10 months in jail with credit for two days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $630.

Stephen Jay Ford, of 1018 2nd Ave. S., Apt. 4, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (schedule 4). He was sentenced to 12 months in jail with credit for two days served. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $798 and placed on probation for 12 months.

Dalton J. Halfaday, of 4838 Danforth Road, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy and two counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing. He was sentenced to 12 months to 10 years in prison. He was also assessed fines, costs and fees of $334.
