ESCANABA -- The Community Foundation for Delta County Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) announces the recipients of their October 2023 grant round. The following organizations receiving grants are:
– Escanaba Area High School- Sensory Wall
– City of Escanaba Recreation Department - After School Program
– Boy Scout Troop 411 - Summer Camp Scholarships
– Gladstone Area Schools - Greenhouse Project
Community Foundation for Delta County Executive Director Cheryl Andzejewski and YAC Youth Advisor David Radloff stated, "The foundation's Youth Advisory Committee is made up of a bunch of very impressive young adults that want to help make a difference. They give-up of their time to make our community and its residents a better place to learn, play and live."
The April 2024 grant round will open on Thursday, February 29, and all grant application requests and requirements must be received by 3:30 P.M. (EST) on Monday, April 1 in order to be considered.
